Rubber trees in highland increase in area

Area of rubber trees, especially in provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, have been developed in terms of planting areas ever since 2009. Under plans, the local provinces will add up 32,000 ha of exhausted forest to land for rubber trees planting as decided by Prime Minister.

 As for Dak Lak Province, the areas are located to 77 villages in 12 districts to be increased to 41,530ha by 2015.

 Plantation development in highland provinces has offered more jobs to thousands of laborers, especially ethinic community.
