Saving books and Tet gifts offered to offspring of trade unionists

On the evening of December 28, provincial Labor Union held a program giving “Trade Union” saving books and Tet gifts for the offspring of trade unionists and employees whose parents died, due to the Covid-19. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation.

At the event, provincial Labor Union gave 148 Tet gifts worth VND 1 million each together necessities for the offspring of trade unionists affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Among them, 9 received saving books worth VND 10 million each. The remainder got saving books that were given by provincial Labor Union earlier.

Addressing the program, Mr. Loi shared difficulties with the families of workers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. He also encouraged these families to overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives, especially the children to continue striving to study well. He hopes that in the coming time, the local mass organizations, businesses, donors... will continue organizing support activities for families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. On this occasion, Binh Duong Medic General Hospital gave free medical examination cards for 148 children up to the age of 18.

In the evening of the same day, provincial Labor Union gave 50 gifts worth VND 1 million each together with necessities for 50 poor workers living at lodging facilities in Phu My ward.
