Binh Duong provincial Trade Union towards its members and working people

Afternoon of December 27, Binh Duong provincial Trade Union held a conference to review its activities and deploy new tasks in 2023. Attending the event was Ngo Duy Hieu – Deputy Chairman of the Vietnamese General Trade Union.

In 2022, the Trade Union of Binh Duong province has focused on the grassroots while the employees well performed their functions and tasks, especially the care and protection of the legitimate interests of union members and workers. Accordingly, the provincial Trade Union focused on directing its grassroots at all levels to carry out key tasks closely following the theme of "Taking care of jobs and life for workers to achieve the highest goals"  as well as the tasks of the Resolution of the 12th Congress of the Vietnamese General Trade Union.

As a result, of the 12 targets assigned by the Vietnamese General Trade Union, 8 have been exceeded by the provincial Trade Union. Specifically, the establishment of grassroots trade union has reached 102.7%; establishment of a mass women's committee reached 160%; dialogues at work reached 107%; new collective labor agreement signing reached 146%; the value of shift meals increase reached 161%; 561 grassroots occupational safety and health councils have been established. The provincial Trade Union has also organized many activities to take care of and protect the legitimate and practical interests of members and employees while actively coordinating with agencies to introduce jobs to workers.

At the conference, the provincial Trade Union presented emulation flags to 10 collectives and gifts worth VND 1 million each from the provincial People's Committee to 50 representatives of union members, workers and bus tickets for representatives of grassroots under provincial labor unions.
