Seminar held on technology transfer and human resource training in the environment industry

On July 28, at Provincial Exhibition and Convention Center, the Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with Kansai Bureu of Economic, Trade and Industry Bureau (METI Kansai) of Kansai Japan held a seminar on technology transfer and human resource training in environmental industry in Binh Duong province. Mai Hùng Dũng, Member of Binh Duong Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, attended the seminar. The METI Kansai delegation had Murakami Keiko, Director of International Business Board, International Affairs Department, Kansai Bureu of Economy, Trade and Industry.

At the seminar, Mai Hung Dung suggested that departments, branches and localities carefully study and make suggestions for Provincial People's Committee to soon apply and operate modern technologies and environmental treatment lines to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of environmental protection in the province. Mai Hung Dung also suggested that in the coming time, METI Kansai would continue to pay attention to and support Binh Duong province in technological solutions to urban wastewater treatment, industrial wastewater treatment; industrial emission source control, especially treatment facilities with hazardous industrial waste incinerators; technology for recycling industrial wastes; burning waste to recover energy...

At the seminar, representatives of businesses of METI Kansai economic region introduced technologies and environmental treatment projects that are being applied effectively in some major economic regions around the world. Accordingly, the common feature of these technologies and projects is the application of scientific and technical advances to form a modern environmental monitoring and treatment chain system, contributing to solving environmental problems facing many localities.
