In Binh Duong province, the Health Ministry just held a seminar to collect ideas for draft of the national strategy of food safety for the 2011-2020 period and vision to 2030 and draft of Decree on implementing some articles of the Law on food safety. Reps of 22 food safety bureaus attended the seminar.

The draft of the national food safety strategy for the 2011-2020 period and vision to 2030 sets goals of improving food safety and hygiene in the country. Till 2020, inspection on food safety and hygiene in chain of food supply will be established and uphold efficiency in protect customers’ health and right.

The draft of Decree on implementing some articles of the Law on food safety stipulates safety for customers’ health and environment for genetically modified food.
