Seventy-six rural roads carried out

Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee, on July 30, held a conference to partially review the local movement on rural traffic and urban rejuvenation in the first half of 2019 and extend tasks, orientations for the rest of the year.

Over the past six months, the district carried out 86 roads on rural traffic and urban rejuvenation with 64 works of more than 60.6km and total cost of more than VND60.4billion. So far, there have been 8 out of 12 communes, township fulfilling this task for 2019 and the remaining communes are expected for completion in Q3.

As planned, from now to year-end, the district will upgrade 126 roads, 99 works with total length of more than 90km and total cost of more than VND101billion. The district will also strive to reach 30% of rural roads covered by asphalt by 2020.
