Khuong Van Hoa, Deputy General Director of the Southern Power Corporation (SPC) yesterday visited and extended Tet greetings to leaders of Binh Duong province.

 During the visit, he said that SPC will provide Binh Duong with VND214bln to develop the 110KV power grid and many other items, including the 110KV power station with capacity of 126 MVA, 120 km of middle-voltage line, the 15,890 KVA power distribution station…, promoting the industrial development of Binh Duong.

 In 2010, Binh Duong Power Company under the Southern Power Corporation spent VND164bln on the 110 KV power grid and other items; provided 5.2 bln KWh power, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%. More than 4bln out of 5.2 bln KWh power were for industrial manufacture and construction. But, power cuts still happened, especially during the dry season, making province-based businesses face difficulties.
