Strengthening solidarity among youths at non-State enterprises

Over the past time, provincial Youth Unions at all levels boosted their activities at non-State enterprises, thereby contributing to promoting a task of gathering and uniting youths, reaching the set targets for the 2017-2018 tenure.

In 2018, provincial Youth Unions set up many branches at non-State enterprises. For example, the Youth Union of Di An ward in Di An town established a branch at Honda Head Thuy Ngan 2 Company with 22 members. After being set up, the branch organized a lot of significant activities, including guiding how to drive safely…The Youth Union branch of Di An town-based Houston 123 was also established with 20 members. The Youth Union branch also coordinated with the town’s Youth Union to organize activities improving English skills among youths while creating new models for them.

Meanwhile, the Youth Union of Thai Hoa ward in Tan Uyen also established a branch at Thai Hoa-based Houston 123, bringing the total branches of the ward to 36 with more than 1,000 members. The Youth Union of the ward and its branches also continued implementing a lot of practical activities to take care of the spiritual and material lives of members.

In addition, provincial Youth Unions at all levels bent on uniting and gathering alien young workers; coordinated with provincial Support Center for Young Workers to maintain clubs “connecting young workers”…The center also set up a club “connecting young workers” No.14 at the wholly foreign-owned Diamond Vietnam Co.Ltd. The executive board of the club includes 9 members, who are managerial officials of the company and also a main force in activities of uniting and gathering young workers.

It is known that the Clubs “connecting young workers” have been replicated across the province, especially at My Phuoc Industrial Parks 1, 2 and 3 in Ben Cat town, Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks 1, 2, Rach Bap Industrial Park, in Di An town, Bau Bang district, Thuan An town…These clubs have also joined hands with enterprises to take care of the spiritual and material lives of workers via many significant activities.

In 2018, provincial Youth Unions at all levels set up 4 clubs “connecting young workers” and 1 voluntary club, bringing the total number of such clubs to 16; developed nearly 50 Youth Union branches at non-State enterprises with more than 1,400 members. In the 2017-2022 tenure, they will strive to establish at least 100 branches at non-State enterprises and 10 clubs “connecting young workers”…
