Thuan An town’s Youth Union, on February 23, held a ceremony to launch the Volunteer Youth Year and the Youth Month 2014.

Accordingly, the town’s Youth Union and its affiliates will get involved in many volunteer programs for the sake of the community, including implementing the “Volunteer Sunday, “Green Sunday” campaigns; taking part in new rural construction; effectively maintaining volunteer youth squads on traffic safety; offering help to teenagers, children with difficulties, backward individuals; taking care of young talents…

Eleven volunteer youth squads, comprising of the Young Physicians’ Club, the Volunteer Youth Squad on propaganda of new rural construction, the Volunteer Youth Squad on environmental protection…, were also introduced at the ceremony.

After the ceremony, the town’s Youth Union and Youth Federation jointly handed over 1 benevolence house to Nguyen Thanh Hoang, a Youth Union member of Hung Dinh commune; teamed up with Binh Duong University for Economics and Technology to kick off a program on enrollment consultancy and vocational orientation support before the 2014-2015 university, junior college and college entrance examination.

The town’s Youth Union and its affiliates also made environmental hygiene at schools and removed illegal advertising boards across the town.
