* Tan Uyen’s 14th propaganda competition on revolutionary songs absorbs 24 teams

Late March 6, Tan Uyen district’s Steering Board for the Youth Month held a ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2014 at the district’s Cultural House for Children. More than 500 Youth Union members and pupils attended the event.

After the launching ceremony, the district’s Youth Union and Division for Culture-Information kicked off the 14th propaganda competition on revolutionary songs themed “The spirit of songs” with contents in praise of Uncle Ho, Uncle Ho’s soldiers, Dien Bien Phu victory, the Youth Union, martyrs, heroes, volunteer youth…, aiming to create an useful playground for the local youth and educate them about the national revolutionary tradition.

The competition will last until March 9 with the participation of 24 propaganda teams on revolutionary songs. During the opening night, participating teams from Tan Hiep, Khanh Binh, Bach Dang, Thuong Tan, Tan My…performed 28 items.
