Thu Dau Mot city launches traffic order and safety 

On April 2, Thu Dau Mot city People’s Committee held a summing up conference on traffic order and safety and urban order 2014 as well as launched tasks and orientations for 2015.

In the past year, Thu Dau Mot city traffic safety committee launched many synchronous measures to ensure traffic order and safety in the city. Specifically, the municipal administration spurs forms of dissemination, legal education on traffic order and safety.

Inspection on traffic order and safety was implemented constantly. Accordingly, functional agencies fined 7,400 violation cases with the total money of VND8,994bn.

Vietnam’s 2015 national traffic safety year will focus on tightening the control of transportation businesses and loading capacities. The aim is to reduce 5-10% the number of deaths caused by traffic accidents compared to 2014.

On this occasion, Thu Dau Mot city People’s Committee honored 23 collectives and 31 individuals for their excellent achievements of traffic order and safety in the past year.
