Youths and traffic culture

To bring high results for the “Youths and traffic culture” mobilization, the town youth union has right from early this year steered its affiliates to build action plans in conformity with every locality.

The youth union’s typical activity in this year lies in cooperation with the town Traffic Safety Committee to hold traffic safety meetings for local residents living along DT745 route. Especially, local voluntary youths control traffic order across intersections. In addition, promulgation teams on traffic safety have been set up.

A contest learning about the Law on Road Traffic and exhibition on Thuan An town photos reflected execution on law on road traffic. Additionally, the town youth union launched “Youths and traffic culture” festival and “Green Sunday” campaign across its affiliates.

Many new models emerged

Models of building traffic safety school gates and safe ferries are typical ones of the town youth union. Moreover, the town youth union has in cooperation with other units held swimming classes for children living near rivers.

The town youth union secretary Luong Minh Tam, said many crucial goals in the Year of Traffic Safety have been implemented well. Many movements have impacted positively on local youths and residents’ awareness on traffic safety.
