April 11, Provincial Farmer Association held the 7th meeting to sum up movement of excellent farmers and farming of Binh Duong Province for the 2009-12 period to praise up excellent farmers. In three years of the movement, 129,716 members have registered and 105,430 of which have won the title of all-level excellent farmers. Excellent farmers are praised To implement the movement in integration with mutual support and poverty reduction, farmers have been supported with hundreds of billion VND from Social Policy Bank and Farmer Supporting Fund which have supported nearly 11,000 turns of members.As for integration with new rural area building, the member farmers have contributed VND 17 billion and nearly 30,000 working days to repair and improve rural area roads, to dredge and create new springs. Over 1,300 bridges and drains have been repaired. On this occasion, the Provincial Farmer Association has been entitled with excellent farming for the great cause in the 8th tenure of 2009-12.
