On 31 Dec, Võ Văn Thưởng, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Propagation Education Committee, came to visit musician Lư Nhất Vũ and poetess Lê Giang. The delagation also had Trần Văn Nam, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly delegation; Lê Hữu Phước, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee.

At home of musician Lư Nhất Vũ in Thu Dau Mot City, Mr. Thưởng paid compliment to the artist couple and appreciated their contribution to literature and art. He also hoped that the artist couple would continue to contribute many ideas to implement the task of "building and developing Vietnam culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development (Resolution33)”.
