Training on agricultural promotion for ethnic minorities

Phu Giao district’s Agricultural Service Center has just organized a training course on "techniques to breed cattle and poultry; plant and tend  pepper trees " for 70 ethnic minority households in Tan Hiep and Phuoc Sang communes.

During the training course, the local ethnic minorities were disseminated some basic knowledge about techniques to plant and tend cashew trees such as how to select varieties; plant, prun and create canopy for cashew trees; put down fertilizer and prevent pests on cashew trees; harvest and preserve cashew nuts after harvest. They were also guided how to select breeding animals; how to breed buffaloes, cows, pigs, chickens and ducks through the stages of development; how to prevent diseases in cattle; how to build breeding facilities...
