VND 20,000 loan offer launched to Trade Union members and working people in Binh Duong

On October 27, Binh Duong provincial Trade Union held a ceremony to sign memorandum of understanding with HD Saison Finance Company Limited and Vietnam Prosperity Bank Finance Company Limited SMBC (FE Credit) to enable the welfare for trade union members and employees.

Accordingly, the two financial companies will deploy credit loan packages with preferential interest rates lower than the normal interest rates of financial companies for trade union members and employees aged 50-70 for consumer loans and 0% interest rate for installment loans to purchase vehicles, appliances, household equipment etc.

Phan Van Anh - Deputy Chairman of the Vietnamese General Trade Union, said that the government's implementation of a loan package of VND 20,000 billion for workers across the country as introduced by the State Bank, and signed by the Vietnamese General Trade Union in cooperation with 2 financial companies - HD Saison and FE Credit to implement a loan package to support union members and employees. The Binh Duong provincial Trade Union was selected by the Vietnamese General Trade Union as the first unit in the country to implement the loan policy.

The cooperation agreement is to enhance welfare and benefits for trade union members and employees with focus on contributing to gradually eliminating the status of ‘black credit’ in industrial parks and workers' residence; at the same time, contributing to improving the welfare of trade union members and employees, and promoting product and service brands of the two financial companies participating in the program.
