Youth Month 2019: Hallmark from grassroots activities

The Youth Month 2019 of youths in the province closed with many animated activities for the sake of the community. These activities helped provincial Youth Unions at all levels leave bold hallmarks, contributing to gathering numerous youths for grassroots voluntary activities.

Significant deeds

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that although the Youth Month 2019 closed, significant deeds of the province’s youths will still continue taking place, contributing to successfully realizing targets of the Volunteer Year 2019.

Reportedly, provincial Youth Unions at all levels realized this year’s Youth Month with contents and concrete targets towards grassroots level. Tran Thanh Tuyen, Vice-Secretary of provincial Police Agency’s Youth Union said that one of the Youth Union’s meaningful activities during the Youth Month 2019 was to grant or exchange old ID cards for the new ones for people with ill and elderly people at home…

During the Youth Month 2019, provincial Youth Unions at all levels also organized many activities for children. On this occasion, provincial Young Pioneer Organization also decided to donate a “red scarf” house worth VND50million to Nguyen Vo Ngoc Trieu, a poor-but-excellent pupil in Hung Dinh ward’s Hung Phuoc quarter in Thuan An town. The “Mang non” (young shoot) work contributed to encouraging the pupil and her family to surmount difficulties and rise up in life…

Close touch with grassroots

The majority of activities and programs during the Youth Month 2019 were implemented towards grassroots by provincial Youth Unions at all levels. These activities expressed the voluntary spirit of youths, contributing to realizing the local tasks on socio-economic development.

According to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of provincial Youth Union, Youth Union cadres must understand each locality and unit’s features in order to improve the activities of the Youth Union and associations. Provincial Youth Unions at all levels have also focused on being proactive to approach and taking care of Youth Union members so that there is an effective, practical and significant Volunteer Youth Year.
