Early August 27, the Red Cross Society of Uyen Hung ward in Tan Uyen city coordinated with the ward’s Fatherland Front Committee and donors to organize a "Zero dong” market-day for disadvantaged people.

At the market-day, the Organizing Board distributed 200 vouchers worth VND400,000 each to disadvantaged people and workers in the ward. Each voucher could be exchanged for many goods and necessities. The total value of the market-day was VND80 million, funded by the city's Red Cross Society and donors.

The market-day aimed at helping the local disadvantaged people get more conditions to rise up in life, contributing to well realizing the local social welfare work.
