Practical activities implemented during Workers’ Month

In response to the Workers’ Month and Young Workers’ Week 2017, North Tan Uyen district’s Steering Board of Teenagers and Children’s Activities have deployed a lot of practical and significant activities, contributing to improving the spiritual and material lives of young workers.

Nguyen Trong Nhan, Secretary of North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union said that the district’s Youth Union has organized numerous activities to take care of the spiritual and material lives of young workers at industrial parks and lodging facilities during the Workers’ Month and Young Workers’ Week 2017. These activities have also contributed to strengthening a task of uniting and gathering young workers, especially ones at non-State businesses, industrial parks and lodging facilities.

Particularly, the district’s Youth Union teamed up with relevant agencies to meaningful activities, including organizing art performances in celebration of the Workers’ Month and Young Workers’ Week 2017, presenting 20 gifts worth VND500,000 each to young workers, 2 mobile megaphones to 2 Youth Union branches of Tan My and Binh My communes…

The district’s Youth Union has also diversified propagandic forms among young workers, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of activities during the Workers’ Month. Accordingly, the district’s Youth Union focused on making dissemination of information about the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Residence, the amended Labor Code 2012, the Law on Traffic Road, food safety and hygiene among young workers…

During the Workers’ Month, the district’s Youth Union will continue realizing many other practical activities, comprising of organizing a festival for young workers with legal support, exhibition on traffic safety, job introduction, contest on beauty of young workers…; joining hands with relevant agencies to mobilize enterprises to take part in activities taking care of young workers; providing free medical check-ups and medicine for young workers, offering gifts to the offspring of young workers with difficult circumstances.
