Workshop on solutions to promote Party member development among workers

Early April 28, provincial Party Committee held a seminar on solutions to promote the development of Party members among workers. Attending the event were Vo Van Minh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Nguyen Minh Thuy, member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission.

Over the past time, the provine’s Party member development among workers obtained positive changes. The whole province has so far fostered more than 2,500 Party members, 71 Party organizations in non-State enterprises. In addition, there are more than 1,700 Party members working in enterprises without Party organizations.

Along with results done, the seminar also pointed out shortcomings for change. Specifically, many enterprises have not had right awareness of the leadership role of Party organizations and mass organizations yet. The quality of Party activities in some places is still low. Employees' awareness of the role of the Party and mass organizations is still limited ... These difficulties have affected the construction and development of the Party and mass organizations in enterprises.

At the seminar, many speeches proposed effective solutions to orient Party member development among workers in the coming time. Specifically, Party organizations at all levels should regularly inspect and supervise the work of creating sources for Party member development. The implementation of the Party member development process and relevant procedures should be in a more favorable direction. Trade unions at all levels should pay attention to recommending excellent trade unionists, workers to the Party. They also need to diversify propaganda, education activities,  raising awareness about the Party, encouraging workers to make self-discipline, striving to become Party members…
