Local preparation for the upcoming election up the progress

On April 28, the Standing Supervision Team of Binh Duong provincial People's Council and the inspection and supervision team of local Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee worked with Tan Uyen town, Bau Bang district, Phu Giao district, Bac Tan Uyen district, and Dau Tieng district on the preparations for the election of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly Delegation and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.

In Tan Uyen town, the election preparation, up to now, has basically been completed in terms of agenda to ensure the progress, procedures and schedule according to the laws. The local Election Commission has established the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control sub-committee in the town and strengthened the mobile epidemic prevention team that can respond quickly to mobilize first aids and ready to receive the mission upon requests.

In Bau Bang district, according to the report, communes and townships in the district have, up to now, completed the review and listing of voters at the office of the communal People's Committees and in the polling areas to ensure the regulated schedules. The district Election Commission issued a resolution fixing 8 units to elect the district People's Council deputies and 57 units to elect People's Council deputies at the commune levels.

In Phu Giao district, the district Election Commission said that the number of the district electorate is, so far, 75,619 voters. The whole district has 51 qualified candidates to run for district People's Council deputies and 493 qualified candidates to run for commune People's Council deputies for the 2021-2026 tenure in 94 polling stations. The district People's Committee has established 8 Election Boards for District People's Councils and 81 Election Boards of People's Councils at the commune levels.

In Bac Tan Uyen district, 52 candidates are eligible to stand for the office and organize the gathering of comments from voters who reside at their working or residing places regarding the candidates of the district People's Council of 2021-2026 tenure. The District Election Committee issued a resolution to fix and announce 8 constituencies of district People's Council deputies. For the commune level, 64 electoral units with 67 polling stations have been established to elect the People's Council deputies at the commune levels.

In Dau Tieng district, the report shows that the number of candidates for People's Council deputies of the district is 53 while 529 candidates are for People's Council deputies of communes and towns. At district level and commune levels are 9 and 86 electoral units accordingly. Under the review, up to now, Dau Tieng district has 89,276 voters. The propaganda, security-order, and prevention and control of Covid-19 have been seriously and effectively carried out by the district Election Commission.
