10 year-implementation of joint program between Binh Duong Women’s Union and Binh Phuoc Command of Border Soldiers under review

On August 16, Binh Duong provincial Women’s Union and Binh Phuoc provincial Command of Border Soldiers held a conference to partially sum up the ten-year implementation of the 2009-2018 joint program. Attending the event were representatives of the Vietnam Command of Border Soldiers, the Central Committee of Vietnam Women’s Union; leaders of sectors, departments and Women’s Unions of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and border posts in Binh Phuoc.

After ten years of implementing the program, the two units well realized law dissemination, raising public awareness of national defence among people, officials and soldiers in border areas. Binh Duong provincial Women’s Union mobilized members, socio-economic organizations, donors to regularly organize practical activities to defend border areas in Binh Phuoc on Tet and great holidays; organized delegations to visit border posts, present gifts to officials and soldiers with difficult circumstances in Binh Phuoc…

At the congress, the two units discussed and continued signing a joint program for the 2018-2012 period with concrete and practical targets. The congress also honored outstanding collectives, individuals in realizing the joint program between the two units over the past 10 years.
