15 years of Binh Duong province’s building and development

Maintaining economic growth pace, Binh Duong has created impetus for socio-economic achievements including the quality of education and training and healthcare and so on, contributing to building a strong and pure Party organization.  

Positive changes of education-training and healthcare

Cause of education-training has been focused in recent years. Quality of education has therefore reached good results. The entire province has so far had 72 out of 91 communes, wards and townships getting the national standards on high school education, accounting for 79.1%. As of the end of this year, the locality will have 109 out of 327 pre-schools getting the national standards, winning 33.3%.

As for healthcare, 100% of communal health stations in Binh Duong now have doctors and medical employees. 88 out of 91 medical stations at communes, wards and townships have reached the national medical standards. The ratio of malnourished children under 5 declined 0.5% from the same period last year. The work of food safety and hygiene has been focused on.

Excelling the national goal programs  

In terms of repayment work, since 1997, Binh Duong has built and repaired over 4,000 gratitude houses worth more than VND72bil and built nearly 6,000 hi-unity houses worth nearly VND67bil.

In 2011 alone, the province has built 46 gratitude houses and repaired 29 other houses with the total value of over VND3bil and granted 83 saving books worth over VND41mil to privileged families.

The movement of “All-people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas” has won positive changes. Many cultural models at grassroot levels have won high results and have been expanded.

Building a strong and pure Party organization

To excel the set political tasks, party cells at all levels have improved working contents and ensured democracy as well as launched the Party and State’s resolutions, instructions and policies to officials, party members and the public.

Since the start of this year, the entire province has admitted over 1,700 new party members, winning over 142% from the set goals in 2011 and lifting the total party members up to over 28,000.

The work of public mobilization has been improved and gathered the public to join in emulation movements of economic development and cultural family building, contributing to maintain political stability and order security.
