8th provincial People’s Council’s 3rd session is very important, says provincial People’s Council chairman

Could you tell about significance of the session?

This session has a very important significance, because this is the first year we implement resolutions of the 11th national party congress and National Assembly, review Government’s solutions on inflation control, macro-economic stability and social welfare assurance and issues relating to local socio-economic development and national defense and security. This is also the year that the provincial party committee has many concretized action plans.

Two months ago, the provincial People’s Council had a joint meeting with the provincial People’s Committee and local Fatherland Front Committee to ratify preparations for the session’s contents. Preparations for the session are ready.

What contents will include in the session, sir?

This session is the year-end meeting with many crucial contents. Implementation of the contents must ensure requirements and meet tasks of socio-economic development and voters’ aspirations. In addition, the contents focus on local socio-economy and national defense and security.

How do you assess the 2011 local socio-economy?

Despite inflation, local goals of socio-economy and national defense and security have reached and surpassed in 2011. However, it is necessary to explain shortcomings in a bid to improve them in 2012.
