North Tan Uyen district has just held a ceremony to launch the 2017 Action Month for Gender Equality and Prevention of Gender-Based Violence.

This year’s action month under the theme of "Joining hands to end violence against women and girls” aims at calling for attention and participation of relevant organizations and individuals in promoting gender equality and eliminating violence against women and girls.

At the ceremony, the district’s People’s Committee asked for agencies and localities to improve how to approach women and classify each women’s group for suitable activities.
