All-level Youth’s League Congress: A political event for youths

Current Deputy Secretary Nguyen Khoa Hai confirmed that all-level Youth’s League grassroots are all awared of direction by upper level to successfully organize their conferences. It is expected that the grassroots meeting will be concluded by May and by August at district level and by October at province level.

Thuan An Youth’s League is chosen as a pivotal unit to implement. As far as preparation is concerned, Thuan An Youth’s League Secretary Pham Minh Tan affirmed that operation plans for grassroots activities have been designated to vote secretaries in two chosen units by the beginning of January 2012; however, some other facilities fail to follow the guideline as confirmed by Deputy Secretary Ha Thi Kim Duyen of labor union of Dau Tieng Rubber Company Limited.

So as to attract more youths in activities, contests are organized beyond from broadcasting programs. The publishment of books and journals regarding Youth’s League activities also help.

The Youth’s League Congress is organized every 5 years, thus, the preparation should be thorough to inspire participation of youths in the new tenure of 2012 – 2017.
