Attraction of foreign investment in industrial parks continues to increase

As informed by Binh Duong provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks, in the first 6 months of 2022, the industrial parks have attracted more than USD 2.3 billion, an increase of 85% compared to the same period in 2021, reaching 192% compared to the same period in 2021 with the 2022 plan. In which, 30 new projects are with a total registered investment capital of USD 1.54 billion, decreasing by 9% in number of projects, but increasing by 300% in capital over the same period; 68 projects adjusted to increase capital with total registered investment capital by more than USD 765,718 million, an increase of 58% in the number of projects and a decrease of 11% in capital over the same period.

Thus, up to now, Binh Duong industrial parks have 3,021 valid projects including 2,347 foreign-invested projects with a total registered investment capital of USD 28 billion and 674 domestic investment projects with a total investment capital of USD 28 billion and registered investment capital of VND 87,796 billions.
