Awarding 75, 45-year Party membership badges to poet Le Giang, 45-year Party membership badges to musician Lu Nhat Vu

On the afternoon of March 14, Ho Chi Minh city’s People, Government and Party Bloc’s Party Standing Committee held a ceremony to award the 75-year and 70-year Party membership badges to comrade Tran Thi Kim (poet Le Giang, member of the Party Cell of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Writers’Association and the 45-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Van Gat (musician Lu Nhat Vu, member of the Party Cell of the Music Association under the Party Committee of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations in Ho Chi Minh city.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh city’s Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Vice-Secretary of Ho Chi Minh city’s Party Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Nen said that this was a special case of awarding the Party badges to two Party members who have been together for 50 years, overcoming many challenges and writing a wonderful love story on the wonder of comradeship, faithfulness and loyalty between husband and wife. With the same way of life and ideals, two artists' souls are in sync with their enthusiasm and dedication to the country's cause of literature and arts.

On this occasion, the Organization Commission of Ho Chi Minh city’s Party Committee officially transferred Party membership records of comrades Tran Thi Kim and Le Van Gat to Binh Duong provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission under to the provisions of the Party Charter.
