Ben Cat excels at military rear work

Nguyen Trong An, Chairman of Ben Cat town’s People's Committee said that over the past time, the town’s Party Standing Committee organized delegations to work with each locality; regularly monitored and directed sectors and localities to firmly grasp the situation and thoughts of young people and families; thoroughly implemented the military's rear regime and policies so that young people can feel secure when joining the army.

In addition, during the last Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, the town organized a delegation to visit and offer gifts to 24 outstanding families and young people. The town’s communes and wards held meetings to give gifts and money with the level of between VND 1 million and VND 2 million to each new recruit, a total amount of nearly VND 236 million.

According to the town's Military Service Council, up to now, the whole town has given orders calling citizens to enlist in the army to all 162 citizens (155 official, 7 reserve), reaching 100% of the set target; guaranteed to issue orders 15 days in advance. All selected citizens returning home for Tet have returned to their localities to ensure safety, peace of mind and the spirit of readiness to join the army in 2024.
