Ben Cat, Phu Giao launch the Youth Month 2018

Ben Cat town’s Steering Board of Teenagers and Children’s Activities has just held a ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2018 with the theme of “Youths creatively build up a civilized, prosperous and beautiful Ben Cat”.

During the Youth Month 2018, the town will organize a lot of practical activities such as educating the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnamese youths; implementing a campaign on “Each youth makes a creative initiative”; building new rural areas; launching the “Green Sunday” campaign; engaging activities in environmental protection, ensuring traffic safety and maintaining urban order; constructing and maintaining the quality of youth self-management streets. The town will also provide free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for policy beneficiaries and poor people; organize voluntary blood donation programs; build houses of compassion, organize the “Voluntary Saturday” campaign; introduce jobs to teenagers and children; hold the festival for Youth Union members 2018…

At the ceremony, the town’s voluntary squads on new rural construction, urban civilization…were also set up. After the ceremony, participating Youth Union members got involved in cleaning up “Tam giac sat” (Iron triangle) tunnel.

*Phu Giao district’s Steering Board of Teenagers and Children’s Activities has also just organized a ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2018 with the theme of “Youths creatively build up a civilized, prosperous and beautiful Phu Giao”.

Accordingly, the district’s Youth Union and its branches will get involved in such significant activities as developing good models; setting up and maintaining activities against social evils; taking part in law dissemination, civilized urban and new rural construction, environmental protection…, thereby arousing the pride of the glorious tradition of the Youth Union in each official, member and youth; upholding youths’ volunteer role in socio-economic development; educating youths about national pride and patriotism…

At the ceremony, the organizers offered 20 gifts to pupils with difficult circumstances while awarding 12 scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils.

Participants also made environmental hygiene in Phuoc Sang commune’s Tan Tien hamlet after the ceremony.
