State President presents flowers to celebrate the event

Addressing the meeting on July 11, State President Nguyen Minh Triet has confirmed the role of police force in local development phase. His addressing was made on the occasion of celebrating the 65th anniversary of public security sector. He also called for the force to listen to people and stay close to the public for the sake of a strong force with transparency. All-time members of the sector have reviewed their years of contributions to crime fighting to defense the national security. During nation build-up, police force has helped to overturn sabotages which are derived from foreign elements and high-tech cheating. On the occasion, the President has awarded the third rank Feat of Arms Medal to investigating unit and second rank Feat of Arms Medal to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Nghia who is in charge of the investigating unit. He also praised up 3 groups and individuals with merit certificates.
