Binh Duong ranks fifth in index set No. 766

Early April 8, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting of provincial Standing Steering Committee for administrative reform and digital transformation, Project No.06, smart city of Binh Duong province (briefly called the Steering Committee). The meeting was carried online to districts, towns and cities in the province.

At the meeting, advisory agencies reported an overview of digital transformation work and implementation of the Project No.06, the province's smart city under the right orientation. In terms of implementing administrative procedure reform under the index set No. 766, as of April 8, 2024, Binh Duong province achieved 79.86 points, ranking fifth nationwide. Particularly, the transparency index group reached 10.70 points. The resolution progress reached 19 points. The online public service provision reached 16.4 points. The satisfaction level reached 17.30 points and digitization of records was 16.50 points.

Regarding the district-level index No. 766, Thuan An, Di An and Tan Uyen cities are ranked excellently, reaching over 90 points. The lowest level was Bau Bang district with 83.87 points. Concluding the meeting, Vo Van Minh, Chairman of provincial People's Committee assessed that administrative reform, digital transformation, implementation of Project 06 and the province's smart city in the first quarter of 2024 had positive changes. However, in the index set No. 766, records synchronized to the National Public Service Portal, the index group of public transparency, online public services, and digitization of records achieved were still low. Therefore, departments, sectors and localities need to pay attention to them for higher results.

He requested leaders of departments, sectors and localities to focus on improving the spirit of service attitude and ethics of officials and civil servants receiving and resolving administrative procedures. They also need to focus on completing the announcement of internal administrative procedures as soon as possible; further promote the implementation of full and partial online public services. In addition, he requested 4 localities that do not have information about establishing IOCs to speed up the establishment process, provide training on community digital transformation and prepare steps to establish an information technology park and digital transformation center of the province...
