Binh Duong youth join forces to carry out many meaningful programs

On the morning of March 17, Bac Tan Uyen District Youth Union organized the provincial-level hosting of peak day of volunteers joining hands to build new rural areas and the first "Green Sunday" in 2024, at the Bau Goc base area in Binh My commune.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union launched 4 young volunteer squads; organized the inauguration of project "Lighting up country roads"; launched propaganda campaign to reduce plastic waste; training on the "One Commune One Product OCOP" Program and OCOP product business skills via digital media; tree planting; visited some production and business models; visited and gave gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers...

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union gave supports worth 15 million VND to three startups of young persons. Youth Union of Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, Youth Union of Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Youth Union of Provincial Customs Department, and Youth Union of Provincial Tax Department presented project "Upgrading rural areas - Lighting up country roads" to Binh My commune with cost of 15 million VND.

l On the same morning, Bau Bang District Youth Union and Thu Dau Mot City Youth Union organized the peak day "Volunteers joining hands to build new rural areas and Green Sunday" in 2024.

The young teams carried out many meaningful projects and tasks, such as: carry out activities of "Bright - green - clean - beautiful route", projects "Youth flower garden", "Elevating rural areas - Lighting up country roads"... with 31 light bulbs installed, 400 new trees were planted on the more than 3.5km long roads. The two units also visited and gave 20 gifts, with a total cost of 8 million VND, to children at Orphanage Center of Pho Hien Pagoda in Cay Truong 2 commune; visited and gave gifts to 2 policy beneficiaries with cost of 2 million VND...

l Previously, on the morning of March 16, at N'Drech village, Ea Huar commune, Buon Don district (Dak Lak province), Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union to launch the program "Border March" 2024 with the theme "Youth on the move, volunteering for community life". At the program, Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union presented young projects and tasks to Dak Lak, with a total value of 220 million VND.

l On the same afternoon, the Provincial Youth Union organized "Border Gratitude" program at Serepop Border Guard Station in Dak Lak province; inaugurated youth project "Lighting up the border" with a value of 60 million VND; donated 30 maps of Vietnam in response to the campaign "Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers"...
