*North Tan Uyen receives the second-class Labor Medal

On April 1, North Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the district's establishment (April 1, 2014 - April 1, 2024) and received the second-class Labor Medal.

The event was attended by former Politburo member and former State President Nguyen Minh Triet; Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; members of provincial Party Standing Committee; Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee...

North Tan Uyen district was established on the basis of separation from the old Tan Uyen district. So far, all communes in the district have maintained and improved the quality of new-style rural criteria. There have also been 7 out of 8 communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards. The economic - technical and social infrastructure systems in the district have continued receiving investment and increasingly served the needs of the people. The district has also promptly implemented policies on social welfare under regulations; paid more attention to “paying debt of gratitude” and taking care of social policy beneficiaries…

In the coming time, the Party Committee of North Tan Uyen district is determined to improve the leadership capacity and fighting power of the Party Committee, promoting the strength of the entire political system and people from all strata, mobilizing maximum resources to build and develop North Tan Uyen into a more and more civilized, modern and environmentally friendly district.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Minh affirmed that over the past 10 years, the Party Committee, government and people of North Tan Uyen district made many efforts in overcoming difficulties and challenges. In the next stage of development, the Party Committee, government and people of North Tan Uyen district are required to further strive, make more efforts, with higher political determination, to mobilize all resources, step by step developing North Tan Uyen into an ideal place to attract investors, positively contributing to the overall development of the province.

On this occasion, the State President awarded the second-class Labor Medal to the Party Committee, government and people of North Tan Uyen district; awarded the third-class Labor Medal to Thai Thanh Binh, Secretary of North Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee for his outstanding achievements between 2019 and 2023, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the country.

In addition, provincial Red Cross Society awarded 50 scholarships worth VND 3 million each to students with difficult circumstances in North Tan Uyen district. The district also mobilized organizations and individuals to give each student a gift worth VND 400,000.
