To turn towards the 78th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and National Day (September 2), as performing the work of "repaying gratitude", all-level Youth Union in the province have done practical gratitude activities.

In August days of the Youth Volunteer Campaign Summer 2023, all levels of Youth Union in the province made volunteer marks on many fronts. In particular, the campaign "Green march" has concretized the promotion of youth energy for the community. Carrying out the work of "repaying gratitude", Youth Union at all levels organized many practical gratitude activities. Accordingly, youth union members and young soldiers visited and gave gifts to policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, and Vietnamese heroic mothers; took part in trips to red places to learn about the history of Vietnamese revolution…

In addition, the grassroots Youth Union is closely cooperated with Youth Union of the armed forces to organize volunteer activities for the community. In Tan Dinh ward (Ben Cat town), the ward Youth Union coordinated with Mobile Police Department to clean up the ward’s memorial stele house and Bot Cau Dinh historical relic area; planted 100 new trees along streets in Quarter 4. Activities of volunteers and soldiers spread the message of joining hands to preserve environmental sanitation.

In Di An ward (Di An city), the ward Youth Union coordinated with armed forces, including the 12th Battalion of 71st Brigade and 46th Battalion of 4th Army Corps to organize the Green March Campaign 2023. During the opening ceremony, volunteers together with soldiers repaired and upgraded children's play area at Di An Train Depot Monument Park...

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union, said: “The Green March volunteer campaign ensures the promotion of the youth spirit of the armed forces with activities to assist the new rural construction, civilized city construction, environment protection... In addition, Youth Unions of armed forces’ bloc actively cooperated with local grassroots Youth Union to carry out the program "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Helping children to go to school", "adopted brother/sister of Youth Union", contributing to ensure social security; at the same time, focus on activities to improve the digital competence of the people…”.

Always be pioneers and volunteers

Enhancing the roles and responsibilities of youth in maintaining social order and security, Youth Union at all levels actively take part in prevention, denunciation, and fight against crime and law violations.

In Di An City, Standing Committee of the city Youth Union has coordinated with armed units to continue deploying and security and order maintaining activities in the city. Youth Union of the city and wards regularly disseminate the law on security, order and social safety by organizing propagation sessions and distributing leaflets in residential areas.

Lam Hoang Thuy Trang, Secretary of Di An city Youth Union, said: “Every weekday, traffic safety self-management team of the youth in the wards will coordinate with police force to regulate traffic flow, ensure traffic order and safety, and prevent traffic jams. On the other hand, local youth often jointly inspect, propagate and remind households and business establishments on roads to ensure traffic safety corridors. Youth Union of the wards also well implement measures to manage, educate, and help young people, who are slow to progress, violate the law, and those who have finished serving prison sentences, to reintegrate into the community. These activities of Youth Union uphold the impulsiveness and dynamism of the youth, while also contributing to the education of the sense of law observance among young people.

Actively participating in the defense of the Fatherland, every year Youth Unions at all levels in the province mobilize young people to strictly implement the Law on Military Service; encourage young people to enlist for the army, continuing the glorious tradition of Uncle Ho's army...
