Day for children with autism – The world being aware of autism

Morning April 2^nd, “A day for the world to be aware of autism” took place at the Disabled Children Rehabilitating and Supporting Center located at 38 Tu Xuong, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

Activities of the day comprised: "Autism is also children", “Let’s understand, love and share autism", "Autism is not caused by parents "... in order to raise people’s awareness of autism, understand, love and share with children with autism. Thereby, autistic children could be more self-confident, reduce stigma and live more happily, joining hands to share the burden with families having autistic children.

At the festival, an art show performed by autistic children, game booths for children with autism, toys and handmade products made by autistic children were also occurred.

Through this event, organizers hoped to connect with benevolent organizations and individuals to help autistic children.
