Delegates of Provincial People's Council listen to opinions of workers

On May 13, at Binh Duong Labor Culture Center, Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council coordinated with Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Provincial Labor Confederation to hold a meeting between Provincial People's Council’s delegates and workers and trade union officials in the province, with the theme "Accompanying and sharing diificulties with workers and trade union officials". The meeting was attended by Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of Provincial National Assembly Delegation.  

At the meeting, trade union officials and workers raised many suggestions and recommendations related to regimes and policies on social insurance and social housing for employees; attracting and retaining employees; building kindergartens, amusement parks; social security and order, credit issues; food safety... Questions of trade union officials and workers were answered by representatives of Provincial People's Council, relevant departments and agencies.  

Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong said that the delegates clearly understood opinions, thoughts, and wishes of workers and trade union officials about the challenges and obstacles at the grassroots level in order to promptly propose handling, settlement, and adjustment to inappropriate regimes, policies, and regulations...

On this occasion, Provincial People's Council and Provincial Labor Federation presented 40 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift, to 40 workers having extremely difficult circumstances.
