Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to strengthen information technology application

Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is using and makes suggestions for the province’s common document management software to improve the software. At present, the department installed this software at  its subordinate units to exchange information and documents between the department and affiliated units. The department has deployed an internal network.

Currently, 100% public servants have official mailboxes. Documents are transmitted through internal network and mailbox, thereby saving the cost of buying stationeries, papers, inks, contributing to increase income of public servants. Regarding online public service delivery, 100% of affiliated units directly under the department have local network (LAN); offices implemente the document management software and has applied this software to affiliated units.

The department is implementing public services at the level 2 and some administrative procedures at level 3. The department will apply services at level 3, 4 into some procedures under the direction of provincial People's Committee in the coming time.
