Tet gifts to the poor

The Volunteers’Club of Di An district is one of the most effective models established by the district’s Red Cross Society. Since its inception 2001, the club has always acted as a bridge between donors and needy people.

Members of the club, namely superior Buddhist Monk Thich Minh Thien, Tran Thi Cuc, Nguyen Thi Hoan, Nguyen Kim Hanh, Nguyen Thi Thuan, Buddhist nun Phap Nhu, Venerable Thich Chi Thien, Nguyen Thi Hoa, Ha Thi Yen Chi…are very enthusiastic in mobilizing money and gifts for the needy.

In addition to the Volunteers’Club, Di An district’s Red Cross Society has taken lead in the models for sake of the poor, including the club of the motorbikes for first aid, the “Charity jar” program, the Tet program for the poor, the campaign “Each organization, each individual helps one humanitarian address”…Through these models, the district’s Red Cross Society over time offered help to thousands of needy people.

So far, Di An district’s Red Cross Society and its affiliates have improved their organization and operations. They over time gave timely help and attention to the poor, showing the humanitarian tradition of Vietnamese people…
