Diverse activities during 2016 Workers’ Month

The 2016 National Workers’ Month and provincial Workers’ Week  will continue accompanying young workers at industrial parks and lodging facilities in the province. On this occasion, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will diversify activities to raise young workers’ spiritual and material lives.

The second “Giving strength to young workers” festival will take place at South Tan Uyen industrial park in Tan Uyen town on May 8.

According to Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union, the festival is co-held by provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union and Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union with practical activities such as organizing a market-day of Vietnamese goods, giving financial support for young workers with difficult circumstances, providing free medical check-ups and medicine for young workers, making law dissemination among them…Coming to the festival, young workers will also have the chance to take part in folk games, enjoy free haircut, get employment information and especially participate in a ceremony honoring good workers and exchange with famous singers.

Also in May, provincial Support Center for Young Workers will organize a variety of significant activities, including a week selling essential commodities with cheap price for workers, a job festive day and a seminar with contents pertaining to skills for job seekers…

Taking care of young workers’ spiritual life is also one of main contents to be done by provincial Youth Union during provincial Workers’ Week 2016. Accordingly, provincial Youth Union will organize a music night performed by famous singers from HCM city together with a lucky draw program in Ben Cat town’s My Phuoc ward. Many art performance competitions will be also held for young workers on this occasion.

In response to the National Workers’ Month 2016, the province will organize a variety of cultural-art activities for young workers. Tan Uyen town’s Division of Culture-Information and Center of Culture-Information are expected to hold six music nights in areas crowded with young workers of Khanh Binh, Tan Hiep, Tan Phuoc Khanh wards, Uyen Hung ward’s trade-residential zone and Hoi Nghia commune.

Many cultural-sports activities will be also organized for young workers at companies in Dau Tieng district. Particularly, they include a festive day “Accompanying young workers” at Hung Thinh Gia Co. in An Lap commune, a contest “Young workers’ singing voice” at Mai Thao Co.Ltd., a “don ca tai tu” (southern amateur traditional music) exchange program  for young workers in Thanh An, Thanh Tuyen and Diep Hiep communes.

Whilst, young workers in Di An town will have the chance to enjoy an art performance program named “Singing with young workers” at street No.21, Nhi Dong 1 quarter, Di An ward on the morning of May 8. The program promises to bring vibrant and significant activities to the local young workers.
