Effective collective economic models continue to multiply

Early December 21, Binh Duong provincial Cooperative Union held the 5th Executive Committee Conference of the 6^th tenure in 2020-2025 to summarize the economic situation of collectives and cooperatives in 2022. Attending the event was Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong – Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Council. In 2022, the Union of Cooperatives of the province implemented and well performed the tasks of developing the collective economy and cooperatives.

During the year, localities have developed 73 new cooperative groups and 18 cooperatives, reaching 100% of the plan. Up to now, the province has 201 cooperative groups with 1,791 members and operating capital of more than VND 48 billion, 229 cooperatives with 48,672 members and charter capital of nearly VND 830 billion. Cooperative groups and cooperatives operate in many fields of transportation, agriculture, handicrafts, construction, trade - services, environment and people's credit funds, contributing to solving jobs for thousands of local workers, and gained the per capita income of VND 7 million a month or more. On the occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 6 individuals who made active contributions. in the implementation of the Resolution of the 5th Central Committee of the 9^th tenure on continuing to innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of the collective economy and the implementation of the Law on Cooperatives 2012. The provincial Cooperative Union awarded certificates of merit to 24 teams and 13 individuals having excellent achievements in completing tasks in 2022.
