Enterprises operate stably after Tet

After Tet holiday 2015, most of local enterprises have thus far resumed their production and business to meet signed orders. Overall, workforce at enterprises after Tet is very stable.

No change of workforce

Nguyen Hong Anh, personnel director of Binh Duong Apparel Co.Ltd. in Thuan An town said that the company’s 2,500 workers resume their job after Tet. The company’s preferential policies for laborers create a long attachment between the company and laborers. Aside from stable wage and bonus, the company directorate spent VND1.2bil to rent buses for taking alien laborers to their homeland for Tet holiday 2015.

Meanwhile, other companies like Dong Hung Industry JSC, specializing in footwear production at Tan Dong Hiep A IP, Di An town resumed its production and business in the previous week. Nguyen Van Le, vice general director of the company said that the company’s workforce is always stable and unchanged. Specifically, 100% of workforce of the company returns their jobs after Tet holiday. In the last year, the company produced more than 10.7 million pairs of shoes, winning a revenue of over US$140mil, paid VND7.2mil per capital per month. Therefore, workers are very happy and attach to the company. In this year, they target to reach a 20% growth.

At foreign companies, workforce is very stable. For instance, Japanese Hoya Lens Vietnam Co.Ltd. located at VSIP II resumed its operation after Tet holiday. Le Duc Hung, chairman of the company said that the company’s workers’ awareness and working style are changed positively. The company’s preferential policies on wage, bonus and allowance, workers are very responsible and attach to the company.

At My Phuoc 1 IP, more than 6,000 workers of Kaiser Vietnam timber industry JSC of Taiwan return their jobs to reach capacity of exporting 1,000 containers of timber. Meanwhile, 8,500 laborers of Panko Vina Co.Ltd of Korea continues their tasks to complete a 40% increase of revenue in this year.

At Vision International Co.Ltd of Taiwan in VSIP 1 in Thuan An town, 3,300 workers return their jobs to make efforts to win a 20% increase in turnover in 2015.

Creating a long attachment

According to the provincial department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, many enterprises win a rate of100% of workforce returning jobs after Tet holiday. These enterprises include Poh Huat Vietnam Co.Ltd, Alhonga Vietnam Co.Ltd, Lotte Vietnam Co,Ltd., Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC, Dau Tieng Rubber JSC, Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co.Ltd, Green Vina Co.Ltd, Forte Grow Co.Ltd, Hoya Lens Co.Ltd, East West Co.Ltd and more.

According to Nguyen Thanh Nhan, vice head of the provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, 100% of enterprises has thus far resumed their job. Bui Thanh Nhan, vice chairman of the provincial Labor Union said that situation of workforce after Tet was very stable and unchanged.

Binh Duong now attracts more than 890,000 laborers, 60% of whom are immigrants. On the last Tet holiday, 117,000 alien workers had to stay for Tet holiday.

On the past Tet, aside from allowances for Tet, VND69bil were disbursed from the provincial budget, trade union’s financial source and enterprises’ support. In addition, trade union at all levels mobilized employers to grant 20,000 bus tickets worth more than VND10bil for alien workers on Tet holiday 2015.    

These good deeds created long attachment between employers and employees.
