EVN SPC should prioritize power production to Binh Duong province

Update: 14-05-2010 | 00:00:00

Yesterday of May 13th, Provincial People’s Committee Deputy Chairman Pham Hoang Ha had a working session with Electricity of Vietnam Southern Power Company (EVN SPC) and suggested for extra supply to Binh Duong.

In his opinion, Deputy Chairman Pham Hoang Ha explained that Binh Duong is a power consuming locality for the sake of great industrial production; however, power lacking has charged a bad hit on production and exportation. If the power lacking is prolonged, Binh Duong growth would be affected.

He suggested that EVN SPC should base on local demands to distribute power, of which localities with crowded industrial production should be prioritized.

“Business delays will affect GDP growth, causing obstacles to achieve the targets urged by decrees of government,” said Deputy Chairman Pham Hoang Ha.

In response, EVN SPC confirmed its reconsideration of power distribution to Binh Duong.
