Get-together to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held

*Meeting generations of Youth Union cadres of Song Be - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc

Early March 22, the Youth Unions of Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong provinces and the Youth Union cardes’Club of Song Be - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc over periods organized a get-together to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) and the 8^th  festival to meet the generations of Youth Union cadres of Song Be - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc at S'tieng Soc Bom Bo Ethnic Group’s Cultural Conservation Area in Bu Dang district’s Binh Minh commune in Binh Phuoc province.

The event was attended by former Politburo member and former State President Nguyen Minh Triet; Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice-President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Youth Union Central Committee, Chairwoman of the Young Pioneer Organization Central Committee. For Binh Phuoc province, there were Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of provincial People's Council; Tran Tue Hien, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee. For Binh Duong province, there were Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council. Leaders of the Party Committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Fatherland Front Committees, departments and sectors of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces; former Secretaries, Vice-Secretaries, cadres of the Youth Unions of Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc over periods... also attended the event.

At the get-together, delegates visited and experienced the cultural space of the S'Tieng ethnic group; reviewed the 93-year glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Along with the youth of the whole country, the youth of Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc provinces actively participated in such movements as “summer youth volunteer campaign”, "Border spring - Tet of love", "Youth volunteering in defending the Fatherland", programs accompanying youth...over the past time. Through these movements, thousands of youth projects, works participating in economic - cultural - social development and ensuring social welfare were implemented effectively by the Youth Unions of the two provinces.

On this occasion, the Liaison Committee of former Youth Union cadres of the Southern region coordinated with the Executive Board of Youth Union cadres of Song Be - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc provinces over periods and the Youth Union Standing Committees of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces to  jointly mobilize resources to carry out projects and tasks, including donating a charity house worth VND 80 million to a disadvantaged household; awarding 50 scholarships worth VND 100 million to poor-but-excellent pupils who are the offspring of ethnic minority people; offering 57 gifts worth more than VND 85 million to former cadres of the Ethnic Minority Youth Union, village leaders, reputable people, households with difficult circumstances and former youth volunteers in Bu Dang district.

The Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also awarded the mementoes "For the Young Generation" to individuals who have greatly contributed to the cause of educating, training, fostering young generations, Youth Union work and youth movements. In addition, leaders of the Youth Unions of Binh Duong provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, districts, towns and cities struck up a friendship with the Youth Unions of Binh Phuoc provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, districts, towns and cities.
