National Defense Academy’s delegation visits Binh Duong

On March 21, a delegation of officials, lecturers and students of the 94th training class on national defense and security under the National Defense Academy, led by Lieutenant General Do Van Banh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the National Defense Academy, visited and conducted field research in Binh Duong province. Joining the delegation was Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Zone 7. Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of provincial Military Command received the delegation.

The delegation visited the Military Commands of Thanh An and Dinh Hiep communes in Dau Tieng district; visited the model of provincial-level standing militia companies; the model of building the headquarters of the communal-level Military Command in association with increased production; the model of building up a comprehensively strong local armed force right from the grassroots; the model of standing militia platoons operating in industrial parks.

Lieutenant General Do Van Banh said the purpose of the tour was to learn about the models of effectively implementing national defense in Binh Duong province. On that basis, the National Defense Academy will apply and improve the quality of education and training, improve theoretical and practical qualifications for officers, lecturers, and students at the requirements of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
