Get-together to celebrate VFF’s 91st anniversary

*Provincial Party Committee Secretary attends the Great National Unity Festival in Phu An commune’s Phu Thuan hamlet in Ben Cat town

On the afternoon of November 18, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Depute Delegation together with provincial delegation attended the Great National Unity Festival and the ceremony to mark the 91st anniversary of traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (FFC) (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2021) in Phu An commune’s Phu Thuan hamlet in Ben Cat town.

Over the past time, officials and people of Phu Thuan hamlet constantly made efforts to effectively implement the local movements and campaigns, join hands with the Party and government to improve the quality of criteria on new-style rural construction; protect the environment; build cultural households and quarters; help each other improve life; carry out “paying debt of gratitude” activities... Mr. Loi praised results done by officials and people of Phu Thuan hamlet and the whole Phu An commune over the past time while hoping that the people of Phu An commune will further promote the spirit of great national solidarity, well implement the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, successfully carry out tasks on socio-economic development, maintain political security, social order and safety, prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic in the "new normal" state, building up a more and more prosperous homeland.

On this occasion, provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee donated VND1billion to households for building and repairing gratitude, charity houses. Provincial leaders also offered gifts to frontline anti-Covid-19 forces and 5 hamlets of Phu An commune. In addition, the local government gave many gifts for policy beneficiary and poor households in Phu Thuan hamlet.

*On the afternoon of the same day, provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a get-together to celebrate the 91st anniversary of traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Committee Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Ly Ngoc Minh, member of the VFF Central Committee’s Presidium.

After 91 years of development, under the leadership of the Party, provincial Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and their staff have always united to overcome all obstacles and excellently completed all assigned tasks. They effectively promoted their role of gathering the strength of the entire nation to unite against the pandemic.

Speaking at the get-together, Mr. Thao highly appreciated the central role of the great national unity bloc of the VFF’s chapters at all levels in the last Covid-19 prevention and control...On this occasion, the VFF Central Committee awarded the mementoes "For the cause of great national unity" to 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Front work; rewarded 20 collectives and 129 individuals with achievements in Covid-19 prevention and control.
