Hearts overflowing with love

For children, Tet is always an excitement and expectation, because it is the time to wear beautiful clothes and receive red envelopes. For orphans and unlucky children, when Tet comes, spring is even more desirable. Understanding children's wishes, every New Year comes, the Party and State always take care of vulnerable, disadvantaged children...

On the threshold of the traditional New Year, despite being busy with work, competent branches, levels, units and localities in the province visit, give Tet gifts, and encourage the poor and disadvantaged children no matter day or night. Most recently, leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and Binh Duong provincial leaders visited and gave gifts to disadvantaged children within a program "Warm and loving spring", one of the activities of "Godmother” program to support, care for orphaned children due to the impact of the Covid-19. Along with other support activities, every year Binh Duong province carries out the program "Spring with disadvantaged children" and this year has been the 16th time. The program is done by the Sponsoring Council of the Provincial Children's Fund in coordination with departments, mass organizations, units and localities in the province.

Since the program was launched the first time, it has received the companionship and support of organizations, individuals, and benefactors inside and outside the province, contributing to helping disadvantaged children enjoy springtime, welcome the new year.  It is known that over the years, more than 100 billion VND has been supported for more than 100,000 children in many charity programs of the sponsor fund. During this Lunar New Year 2023, nearly 2,000 children received spring gifts with a total budget of more than 2 billion VND. The program has a very special meaning, humanity, is an opportunity for children to meet, exchange, watch cultural music shows, and receive Tet gifts full of love.

The life of orphans in particular, disadvantaged children in general, despite the absence of family, but with all the love and responsibility of the whole political system, the cooperation of society and business community, the joyful, warm and energetic atmosphere during the New Year holidays is imprinted in the hearts of children. This is a timely source of encouragement to help and share difficulties with them so that the children have the motivation to better their lives and strive to become useful people for society.
