Hundreds of locals attend blood donation in Di An city

On December 7, the Steering Committee for voluntary blood donation, the Red Cross of Di An city in collaboration with the Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center in Ho Chi Minh city organized a voluntary blood donation day.

Upholding the the message of "donating blood to save lives - a noble cause", the festival attracted a large number of officers, teachers, soldiers of the police force, militia and self-defense forces, youth union members, workers and laborers to register to participate in voluntary blood donation drives. Participants were guided by the Organizing Committee to well implement the 5K principle of the Ministry of Health on COVID-19 prevention and control.

The health screening and counseling on how to take care of health after donating blood, the benefits and meaning of blood donation to save lives helped the Organizing Committee receive 300 blood units which will be screened and preserved by the Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center to serve the treatment of patients in need of blood tranfussion for treatment in the near future.
