Binh Duong Customs Bureau just held a summing up conference on its 2010 activities and set out tasks for 2011. In the past year, Binh Duong Customs completed import and export procedures for 3,008 businesses, up 22.17%, reached the total import-export turnover of $17.326bil, a rise of 26.5%, paid over VND7,464bil to the state budget, a year-on-year increase of 78.27%.

In 2011, the bureau will launch plans on customs modernization for the 2011-2015 period, step up e-customs implementation with 80% of import-export turnover, develop agents of making customs procedures, and modernize customs procedures and so on.
