Int’l scientific conference on higher education held

On June 21 and 22, Thu Dau Mot university, in collaboration with the Asian Association for Education and Exchange (Japan), organized an international scientific conference with the theme of "Higher education meeting the requirements of human resources and local socio-economic development - practices from countries and suggestions for Vietnam".

The conference featured 75 scientific papers. Most of the reports adhered closely to the conference’s theme, addressing theoretical and practical issues related to the role and position of universities in the local socio-economic development; the development of science, technology and innovation in line with the local and regional potential; innovation in educational contents, training programs, management experience, practical challenges and directions for fostering multicultural competence among students; evaluation on resources and competitive advantages in higher education development.

As planned, the conference consists of five sessions so that scientists and delegates present reports and engage in discussion.
